Kylie Ohlmiller

Personal: Ohlmiller played basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball in high school. She owns her own training company called KO17 Lacrosse, which focuses on preparing the next generation of lacrosse players. Ohlmiller has also worked as a broadcasting analyst at the college level and aspires to work in broadcasting full-time after her playing career is over. She has an Australian Shepherd puppy named Oakley and will be inducted into Stony Brook's Rita & Kurt Eppenstein Hall of Fame in October 2023. Ohlmiller lists performance coach TJ DeMartino as someone who has made a difference in her life. She competed in swimming until the age of 14 and also played soccer as a child. In high school, Ohlmiller was a four-year varsity letter winner in volleyball and basketball. Her hobbies include spending time with her dog, going to coffee shops while traveling, shopping, reading, and keeping a journal. Ohlmiller wears the number 17 in honor of her dad, Chuck, who wore the same number during his playing career.

2022 Season: Ohlmiller missed playing due to an injury she sustained while representing Team USA in the World Lacrosse Women's World Championship.

2021 Season: Ohlmiller had an impressive performance, scoring 1,536 leaderboard points. She achieved 100 or more points in a game nine times, including five of the first seven outings. Ohlmiller served as a captain three times during the season and led her teams to a 15-12-9 quarter record. She ranked third among captains with 15 quarter victories and had six game victories with a 6-3 mark. Ohlmiller tied for third in the league with nine multi-goal efforts, including four hat tricks. She led Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse with 48 points in 15 games, ranking second in the circuit with 31 goals and tying for second place with 17 assists. Ohlmiller also had 73 shots, the third-highest in the league, and recorded multiple five-goal games. She contributed 15 ground balls, with a season-high of five loose balls in a game against Team Warden on July 30, and scored a season-high 198 leaderboard points.

International Experience: Ohlmiller represented Team USA at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Championship, where she scored 10 goals and had seven assists in seven games, helping the team win the gold medal. She was also a member of the training team for the 2017 United States Senior National Team and narrowly missed making the final cut for the World Cup. 

Other Professional Experience: Ohlmiller played for the New York Fight of the Women's Professional Lacrosse League for two seasons. She was the first-ever selection in the WPLL Collegiate Draft in 2018 and earned a spot on the 2018 WPLL All-Star Team. During the 2019 season, she scored eight goals and had five assists..

At Stony Brook: Ohlmiller was a four-year letter winner who started in 83 out of 84 games from 2015 to 2018. She scored 254 goals and had 246 assists, setting NCAA Division I records for points in a season (164) and career (498). Ohlmiller ranks third in NCAA history with a career average of 5.93 points per game. She also holds the NCAA's single-season and career assists records. Ohlmiller led NCAA Division I in points per game, total assists, and total points in her junior and senior years. She is one of only two players in NCAA Division I history to achieve 200 career goals and 200 career assists. Ohlmiller had several standout performances, including scoring 11 or more points in a game three times and recording seven or more assists in four different games. She was named America East Conference Offensive Player of the Year twice and America East Rookie of the Year in 2015. Ohlmiller was a four-time All-America East First Team selection and earned Most Outstanding Player honors at the America East Tournament three times. She was also a two-time finalist for the Tewaaraton Award and a three-time IWLCA All-America pick, with First-Team distinction in 2017 and 2018. In 2017, Ohlmiller was named the IWLCA Division I Attacker of the Year.
