PLAYER EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES

Leagues built on athlete-led decisions.

The Player Executive Committee (PEC) is a big part of what makes the AU model truly different rather than just philosophical. The Player Executive Committee isn’t symbolic, it’s intentional participation, embedded within the league’s governance structure:

  • A small group of elected/selected players serves fixed terms.
  • They meet weekly with league leadership.
  • They weigh in on real operational and strategic areas: including but not limited to compensation structures, benefits, scheduling, travel, and overall player experience.
