Lexie Brown

Personal: Brown is the Chairperson of Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball’s Player Executive Committee. Her father, Dee, played 12 seasons in the NBA with four different teams and won the 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. She has two dogs named Kodak and Kanon. Brown is the co-host of the “Gil’s Arena” podcast with former NBA player Gilbert Arenas. She models her game after Kristi Toliver, Damian Lillard, and Klay Thompson, and if she were not playing basketball, she would aspire to be a general manager of a sports organization. She has her own podcast on iHeart Radio, and her proudest accomplishment is graduating from Duke with two degrees. She lists her parents as people who have made a difference in her life. Her hobbies include exercising, creating content, traveling, and reading. As a child, she was involved in ballet, tennis, and summer camps. She worked with the ACC Network as a college women’s basketball analyst during the 2022-23 season and has worn No. 4 since high school in honor of her dad.

2025 Season: Brown earned seventh place in the final Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball standings with 4,405 leaderboard points. She ranked fifth in the league with 1,675 stat points while tying for fifth with 330 MVP points, and she was seventh in the league with five Game MVP awards. Brown posted five games with 500 or more leaderboard points. As a starter in all 12 games, she scored in double figures 11 times, including two outings with 20 or more points. She ranked fifth in the league by averaging 16.0 points per game and was third in the circuit with 22 steals. Brown ranked fourth in the league by playing 395 total minutes. She shot 47.0 percent from the field after converting 70 of 149 attempts and also made 21 of 66 three-point field goal attempts, including a season-best four triples against Team Colson (February 5) and Team Sims (February 20). Brown started Week Four with back-to-back games of 20 or more points, earning MVP 2 honors and 562 leaderboard points in the Week Four opener against Team Sims, scoring 20 points on 7-for-17 shooting from the field, including a 3-for-9 effort from beyond the arc. She tallied a season-high 24 points against Team Siegrist on March 1 en route to MVP 2 distinction and 373 leaderboard points, knocking down 9 of 21 field goal attempts, including 3 of 8 three-pointers, while matching a season high with seven rebounds. Brown garnered MVP 1 recognition with 581 leaderboard points in the Week Two opener against Team Bradford, shooting 7-for-12 from the field and grabbing a season-high seven rebounds for a 15-point performance. She collected a season-high 642 leaderboard points to end Week Two against Team Nurse, earning MVP 2 accolades following an 18-point effort, which included a perfect 5-for-5 outcome at the free throw line. She dished out a season-high five assists against Team Caldwell in addition to scoring 16 points to close Week Three.

2024 Season: Lexie Brown finished her third Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball season in 10th place with 4,310 leaderboard points and tied for eighth in the circuit with 180 MVP points. She also held 10th place in the league with 2,820 win points after posting a 7-5 record. She was one of five players in the league to reach 700 or more leaderboard points in a game during the season. As a starter in 11 of 12 games, she averaged 11.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. She shot 32.8 percent from three-point range while making 29 of 34 free throws. Brown tied for fifth in the league with 20 steals. She registered three consecutive 20-point outings during Week Two, including a career-high 27 points against Team Gray on March 9. She made 8 of 14 field goal attempts, including a 6-for-9 effort from beyond the arc, while adding a season-high eight rebounds en route to MVP 1 notice and a career-high 715 leaderboard points. She also received MVP 1 distinction in the Week Two final against Team Sims after scoring 22 points on 7 of 15 shooting from the field and a 6-for-6 performance at the free-throw line. She opened Week Two by scoring 22 points against Team Mitchell, including an 11-for-13 showing at the charity stripe. She tallied 21 points on 9 of 15 shooting from the floor against Team Sims on March 16 and dished out a career-high 11 assists in the Week Three opener against Team Mitchell.

2023 Season: In her second year, Brown placed 18th on the final leaderboard with 3,939 points. She accrued 2,550 win points while appearing in 11 games. She led the league with a .448 three-point field goal percentage after converting 26 of 58 attempts from long range. She was third in the circuit with a .518 field goal percentage while averaging 11.5 points per contest. Brown scored 10 or more points in 8 of 11 outings, including a career-high 21 points against Team Smith on March 8. She matched the Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball single-game record by making six three-pointers in the Week Three opener. She also knocked down six triples in the February 24 outing against Team Sims. She scored 17 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the floor, including 3 of 6 three-pointers, against Team Mitchell to end Week Three. She dished out a season-high eight assists against Team Sims on March 10 while recording a season-best four steals. She closed the season with double-digit scoring performances in five of her last six games.

2022 Season: As a member of the inaugural Athletes Unlimited All-Defensive Team, Brown finished fourth on the leaderboard with 5,317 points. She tallied 400 or more points seven times, including a season-high 534 points in the season opener on January 26 against Team Sims. She earned three game MVP awards and scored the first points in league history against Team Sims on January 26. She ranked second in the league with 38 steals, tallying three or more steals in 8 of 15 games, including a pair of five-steal games against Team Sims (January 26) and Team Hawkins (February 19). She dished out 70 assists in 15 games, good for sixth in the league, and fashioned five games with seven or more assists, including a trio of eight-assist efforts. She was the tenth-leading scorer in AU with 210 total points and averaged 14.0 points per game with 12 double-digit efforts. Brown scored a season-high 20 points in Week Five against Team Cloud, shooting 6 for 10 from the field, in addition to making all six free throws. She opened the season with four consecutive double-digit scoring performances, including 19 points against Team Sims in the first game on January 26. She contributed 17 points with seven rebounds in the Week Five opener on February 23 against Team Hawkins, shooting 7 for 13 from the field in the contest while playing 36 minutes. She nearly registered a double-double against Team Russell on February 4, scoring nine points with a season-high 10 rebounds.

Other Professional Experience: Brown is an eight-year WNBA veteran who has played in 175 games with 48 starts, averaging 5.7 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game in her career. She was drafted with the No. 9 overall selection by the Connecticut Sun in the 2018 WNBA Draft. She spent two seasons with the Minnesota Lynx from 2019 to 2020 before helping the Chicago Sky win the 2021 WNBA title. She netted a career-high 26 points with Minnesota in a win against Indiana on August 7, 2020. She appeared in 17 games off the bench for the Sky and contributed 1.6 points and 0.7 rebounds per game. She was acquired by the Los Angeles Sparks in 2022 and averaged 7.1 points and 2.3 rebounds while starting a career-best 16 of 34 games. She ranked ninth in the WNBA during the 2022 campaign with a .398 three-point field goal percentage. Brown earned a starting assignment in 11 of 12 games during the 2023 campaign with Los Angeles and had nine double-digit scoring efforts, including a career-high 26 points against Phoenix on June 2, 2023. She was a starter in 8 of 16 appearances with the Sparks in 2024, posting an 8.1 scoring average while grabbing 3.3 rebounds per outing. She tallied 20 points on 6-for-14 shooting from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 effort at the free throw line against Washington on May 21, 2024. She appeared in 24 games as a reserve with Seattle in 2025, contributing 2.1 points per game. She has also played professionally overseas in Hungary, Israel, and France.

International Experience: Brown averaged 5.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game for Team USA during the 2012 FIBA Americas U-18 Championship for Women.

At Maryland: Having started her college career at Maryland before transferring to Duke, Brown made NCAA history as the first player to earn Associated Press All-America honors at two different schools.

At Duke: Brown became the 41st player in NCAA history to earn three Associated Press All-America commendations. She is one of three players in NCAA “Power Five” Conference history to accumulate at least 2,000 career points with 500 assists, 300 steals, and 300 made three-pointers. She made 56 consecutive free throws during her redshirt junior season to set an Atlantic Coast Conference record. She also owns the Duke record by hitting a three-pointer in 29 consecutive games.
