Professional Sports, Reimagined In Partnership with Athletes

Athletes Unlimited (AU) is the home of athlete-driven professional sports, building a new generation of leagues where athletes have a greater voice in how their sports are played, experienced, and built.

Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL)

The best players. The biggest stage. A league built to take softball to the next level.

The Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) is the premier professional softball league in the United States, and the biggest stage in the world for the game's best athletes.

Led by Commissioner Kim Ng and backed by a strategic investment from Major League Baseball, a multi-year media partnership with ESPN, and an advisory group featuring softball legends Jennie Finch, Natasha Watley, and Jessica Mendoza, AUSL is built for the future of the game.

How AU Leagues Differ from Traditional Leagues

Athletes Unlimited is built on the principle of partnership, where athletes, executives, staff, and investors work together to build the league and grow the sport. Traditional sports leagues are typically structured with clear top-down governance where owners and investors, not the athletes, benefit from the long-term success of the League.

Our bylaws guarantee athlete representation on the Athletes Unlimited Board of Directors. Our profit participation plan gives every athlete the opportunity to share in the long-term value they’re helping to create. Our Player Executive Committees play a central role in running the leagues, with a voice in nearly every decision that affects players.

Integrated Partnerships with Athletes

AU players are stakeholders and share in the long-term value created by the league.
