AU Pro Lacrosse players nominated for 2023 Best of Lacrosse Awards

Dec. 6 – Kait Devir – Best in Content

Kait Devir has been AU Pro Lacrosse’s lead photographer since its inception in 2021. Devir also produces content about her life and experiences as a Division I NCAA Lacrosse athlete on her social media accounts. You can follow her on Instagram and TikTok.

Dec. 14 – Kyle Ohlmiller – Best Comeback story

Attacker Kylie Ohlmiller missed the 2022 AU Pro Lacrosse season due to an injury she sustained while representing Team USA in the World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship. Ohlmiller tore her ACL in the semifinal game against Australia but returned to the field in 2023.

Dec. 22 – Taylor Moreno & Sam Apuzzo – Best Women’s Player

2023 Champion Taylor Moreno and second-place medalist Sam Apuzzo both made the list for Best Women’s Player of the Year.

Moreno became the first-ever Athletes Unlimited player to claim back-to-back titles. She led the league with 140 saves over 12 games, including eight outings with 10 or more saves.

Apuzzo finished just 12 points behind Moreno on the final leaderboard. She was the winningest player during Season 3 and voted MVP more than any other athlete.
