Personal: McKone is the Co-Chairperson of Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse's Player Executive Committee. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies from Northwestern in 2020 and also received her Master's degree in data science from the same university. McKone currently works as a business analyst for Parity, a startup that aims to close the gender pay gap in sports by securing sponsorship deals for women athletes. She credits her high school coach, Angie Kensinger, as someone who has made a difference in her life. McKone grew up aspiring to be a professional soccer player and also played the piano during her childhood. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and trying out new restaurants. McKone is also a fan of pickleball and spikeball. She can speak Spanish and wears the number 46 in honor of former New York Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte.
2022 Season: McKone scored nine goals and had eight assists, earning a total of 1,057 leaderboard points. She ranked fourth in the league with 16 caused turnovers and seventh with 25 draw controls. McKone had a season-high of five draw controls in the season opener and scored three goals against Team Arsenault in the Week Two opener. She had six games with 100 or more points, including a season-high of 153 points against Team Johansen on August 13.
2021 Season: McKone finished with 887 leaderboard points, including three games with 100 or more points. She tied for fourth in draw controls with 36 and scored eight goals, including a two-pointer. McKone ranked fourth in the league with 13 assists, with back-to-back three-assist efforts in Week Four. She ended the season with 22 draw controls in the final six games, including a season-high of six draws against Team Waters on August 21. McKone was selected in the Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse College Draft.
International Experience: McKone represented Team Israel at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Championship, where she led the team with 35 points in eight games. She also had 21 goals and 14 assists. McKone scored four goals in a game three times and had a pair of four-goal, three-assist efforts against Puerto Rico and Czech Republic. She also competed for Israel at The World Games in Birmingham, Ala., where she led the team to a fifth-place finish with 10 goals and five assists in four games. McKone played for Team USA during the 2021 USA Lacrosse Fall Classic.
At Northwestern: McKone was a five-year letter winner at Northwestern University. During her time there from 2017-2021, she appeared in 83 games, including 47 starts. Throughout her career, she scored a total of 105 goals and provided 68 assists. In addition to her offensive contributions, she also recorded 88 ground balls and caused 48 turnovers. McKone's 105 goals tied her for eighth place on the Wildcats' career assists list, and she was one of only 19 players in program history to achieve 100 or more career goals. McKone was a two-time selection for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll and received two Big Ten Conference Distinguished Scholar honors. As a graduate student, McKone was named a First-Team All-Big Ten selection after scoring 27 goals and providing 17 assists in 16 games. Her outstanding performance in 2021 earned her Second-Team IWLCA All-America recognition. In 2020, she was named to the Inside Lacrosse All-America Third Team. Furthermore, McKone was recognized for her sportsmanship and received the 2019 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
