Biography
Personal: Tori Dixon majored in sport management with a focus in communications at Minnesota. Tori Dixon's father, David, played 11 seasons in the National Football League. Tori Dixon has two cats named Sushi and Kitten along with two dogs named Finn and Leo. Tori Dixon enjoys fostering cats and dogs when she can. Tori Dixon also competed in basketball and softball as a child. Her hobbies include traveling and going to happy hours.
2024 Season: Tori Dixon was an Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball All-Position Team selection who earned 12th place in league standings with 2,579 leaderboard points. Tori Dixon ranked seventh in the league with 1,660 win points after compiling an 11-4 match record. Tori Dixon earned two Match MVP honors. Tori Dixon led the league with 33 block assists while ranking sixth with 21 solo rejections. Tori Dixon registered three or more block assists in seven contests. Tori Dixon totaled 69 kills and 26 digs. Tori Dixon led all players with 47 sets played over 15 matches. Tori Dixon put down 12 kills on a .583 hitting clip with a solo block and four block assists against Team Caffey on October 14. 2023 Season: Tori Dixon completed her first Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball season with 2,151 leaderboard points to earn 19th place. Tori Dixon was one of two middle blockers named to the All-Position Team. Tori Dixon tied for second among the league’s middle blockers with 22 block assists. Tori Dixon was third in the league with a .331 hitting percentage. Tori Dixon appeared in all 46 sets. Tori Dixon notched 67 kills with 38 digs. Tori Dixon garnered Match MVP notice two times. Tori Dixon received MVP 1 accolades in the Week Three opener against Team Rosenthal after tallying seven total blocks with four kills. Tori Dixon claimed MVP 2 distinction on October 22 against Team Rosenthal, notching nine total blocks, three kills, and a season-high 278 leaderboard points. Tori Dixon set a season high with nine kills in the Week One finale against Team De La Cruz. Other Professional Experience: Tori Dixon has played professionally since 2013 with six different teams in Azerbaijan, Japan, Italy, and China. Tori Dixon spent two seasons with Rabita Baku in Azerbaijan. Tori Dixon also played three years with BAIC Motors Beijing in China from 2018-21. Tori Dixon earned a Bronze medal in the 2021 Turkish Cup with Turk Hava Yollari. Tori Dixon was named Best Blocker in the 2020 Chinese League after guiding BAIC Motors Beijing to a Bronze medal. Tori Dixon was honored as Most Valuable Player and Best Blocker in 2019 after leading BAIC Motors Beijing to a Gold medal. Tori Dixon played on a Bronze medal squad in the 2018 Italian Cup with Vero Volley Milano. Tori Dixon collected Bronze medals in the 2016 Japan V. League and Empress Cup with Toray Arrows. Tori Dixon secured a Gold medal at the 2013 and 2014 Azerbaijan Superleague with Rabita Baku in addition to a Bronze medal at the 2013 CEV Champions League and 2014 CEV Cup. Tori Dixon helped the Omaha Supernovas win the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation title in 2024, tallying 134 kills with 62 blocks. Tori Dixon spent the 2025 season with Salt Lake in League One Volleyball. Tori Dixon contributed 65 kills with 30 blocks and 22 digs.
International Experience: Tori Dixon has been a member of the United States Women’s National Team since 2013. Tori Dixon was an alternate on the Team USA roster for the 2016 and 2021 Olympic Games. Tori Dixon was a member of the USA squad for Weeks One and Three of the 2022 Volleyball Nations League. Tori Dixon guided the United States to a Gold medal at the FIVB Volleyball Nations League in 2018, 2019, and 2021. Tori Dixon was honored as Best Blocker at the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. Tori Dixon was named Best Blocker at the 2019 NORCECA Continental Championship after piloting Team USA to a Silver medal. Tori Dixon also secured a Gold medal at the 2019 Tokyo Olympic Qualification Tournament. Tori Dixon led Team USA to a Silver medal at the 2019 FIVB World Cup. Tori Dixon competed for the United States at the 2018 FIVB World Championship. Tori Dixon earned a Bronze medal at the 2017 FIVB World Grand Champions Cup. Tori Dixon was the recipient of the Best Blocker award at the 2016 NORCECA Olympic Qualification Tournament after leading the United States to a Gold medal. Tori Dixon was selected as Best Blocker at the 2015 FIVB World Cup while helping Team USA win a Bronze medal. Tori Dixon was a member of Gold medal teams at the 2014 FIVB World Championship and 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix. Tori Dixon was also a member of the Gold medal squad at the 2015 NORCECA Championship. Tori Dixon led the team in kills and blocks 18 times during her final season and received five conference weekly awards.
