Gibbemeyer started playing volleyball as a freshman in high school. She loves finding joy in the simple things and traveling the world.

Gibbemeyer has played professionally in Japan, Italy, Azerbaijan, and most recently, Turkey’s Eczacibasi VitrA. Gibbemeyer won the Italian league in 2015 and CEV Champions League in 2016 with Pomi Casalmaggiore. She is a two-time Italian Supercup Champion (2015 & 2017), 2018 Italian Cup winner (Novara), Turkish Supercup champion (2018 & 2019) and Turkish Cup winner (2019). As a member of Team USA, she is a two-time Pan-American Cup gold medalist, two-time NORCECA Champion (2013 & 2015), 2015 FIVB Grand Prix gold medalist, and 2018 FIVB Nation’s League gold medalist.
- Holds Minnesota school record for total blocks with 591
