Personal: North graduated from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in sociology and earned her Master's degree in sport administration in 2023. She is one of five children in her family and credits her high school and club coach, Maggie Koch, and Boston College women's lacrosse coach, Acacia Walker-Weinstein, as people who have made a difference in her life. If she wasn't playing lacrosse, North says she would be a professional basketball player or professional golfer. She played the piano and guitar as a child and also participated in basketball and field hockey. In her free time, North enjoys spending time with her friends, listening to music, and playing golf. She is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and wears No. 88 in honor of the team's legendary wide receivers.
2022 Season: North was the first overall pick in the 2022 Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse College Draft and finished as the league leader in goals, two-point goals, and points. She tallied 1,061 leaderboard points and had five games with 100 or more points. North ranked third in the league with 135 MVP points. She set league single-season records with eight two-point goals and 50 points. North scored at least one goal in 11 out of 12 games and had 10 multi-goal performances, leading the league. She also had seven hat tricks, the most in the league. In the season finale against Team Johansen, North scored six goals, including three two-pointers, and had 10 points, setting league records. She had a hat trick in four consecutive games from July 31 to August 7. North started her professional career with three goals, including two two-point markers, and three assists against Team Waters. In Week One, she scored three goals and had two assists against Team Glynn. In Week Three, North had a three-goal, two-assist performance against Team Moreno. Her best game was in Week Two, where she scored three goals, including a two-pointer, in an 8-5 victory over Team Arsenault, earning her 198 leaderboard points.
International Experience: North represented Team USA at the World Lacrosse 2022 Women's World Championship. She tied for second on the team with 28 points in eight games and led the team with 23 goals, ranking ninth in the tournament. North had five hat tricks, including four games with four or more goals. She scored five goals against Scotland and England during pool play. North is one of eight players in Team USA history to register 20 or more goals in a single Women's World Championship.
At Boston College: North played her final three years at Boston College after starting her career at Duke. She appeared in 87 games throughout her college career and is the NCAA's all-time leader with 358 career goals. She is the only player in NCAA Division I history with three seasons with 90 or more goals and one of three players to register 100 or more goals in a single season, scoring 102 goals in 2021. North ranks third in NCAA Division I history with 433 career points and also tallied 373 career draw controls. She received the Tewaaraton Award twice and was a consensus First-Team All-America pick during her final two seasons. North was also named the IWLCA Player of the Year and Attacker of the Year in 2021 and 2022. She was nominated for the 2022 ESPY's Best Collegiate Athlete in Women's Sports and was a 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year nominee. North was selected as the 2021 and 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Female Athlete of the Year and received the 2021 Honda Sport Award for Lacrosse. She was a four-time All-ACC performer and earned First-Team notice in 2021 and 2022. During her time at Boston College, North scored 217 goals with 47 assists and accumulated 364 draw controls over 51 games. She ranks fourth in Boston College history with 264 career points and finished second on the school's career goals list. North scored 115 points as a fifth-year senior, the fourth-highest single-season mark at Boston College, and had 114 points during the 2021 campaign, which ranks fifth all-time. She set a Boston College single-game record with 12 points and also holds the school's single-game goals record with a 10-goal performance.
At Duke: In her two seasons at Duke, North scored 169 points and tied for 10th on the career goals list with 141 goals. She set Duke single-season records with 82 goals and 105 points as a sophomore and was named Second-Team All-ACC in 2019. North also claimed Second-Team All-ACC notice as a freshman after setting Duke freshman records with 59 goals and 64 points.
