Biography
Personal: Annayka Legros is the daughter of Wedesse Jean-Gilles. She can also speak French. Annayka Legros notes Andre Sa as a mentor. She lists her mom as a personal idol. Annayka Legros also participated in ballet growing up. Her hobbies include baking and dancing.
Other Professional Experience: Annayka Legros played in the Swiss League for Genéve Volley and Volleya Obwalden during the 2017-18 season. She then moved to Saint-Raphael Var Volley-Ball for the 2019-20 campaign. Annayka Legros joined Istres Provence Volley in the French league in 2020. She played for Vandoeuvre Nancy Volley-Ball in 2022-23 before joining Volley Mulhouse Alsace for two seasons between 2023-25. Annayka Legros was named Best Spiker in France’s Saforelle Power 6 in 2022-23 and 2024-25. She also earned Best Spiker laurels at the 2023 French Cup. Annayka Legros claimed the French Cup title with Alsace in 2025. She signed to play for Madison in the 2026 League One Volleyball season.
At Coastal Carolina: Annayka Legros appeared in 301 sets over 100 matches at Coastal Carolina between 2013-16. She ended her college career with 703 kills, 93 digs, and 270 total blocks while hitting .336. Annayka Legros appeared in all 112 sets across 33 matches as a senior in 2016. She was named to the AVCA All-South Region and All-Sun Belt Teams.
