Recap: Sims nets season-high 31 points in Glow's 110-89 win
NASHVILLE — Guard Odyssey Sims erupted for a season-high 31 points and dished out eight assists as Glow shined past Rhythm for a 110-89 victory to open Wednesday’s Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball doubleheader at Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
Sims, who earned MVP 1 plaudits along with a season-high 824 leaderboard points, anchored five Glow players in double figures after making 11-of-15 shots from the field in addition to a 9-for-10 effort from the free throw line.
Guard Sarah Ashlee Barker added 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor, while guards Rebekah Gardner and Kierstan Bell each chipped in 12 points. Guard/forward McKenzie Forbes contributed 11 points off the bench for Glow, which shot 57.5 percent from the field in the victory.
Forward Aneesah Morrow, who made her debut as a captain, earned MVP 2 notice after registering her third double-double of the season with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
Guard Zia Cooke paced Rhythm in the loss with 23 points, five rebounds and four assists to secure MVP 3 distinction.
KEY MOMENT
Glow, which never trailed in the game, broke a 10-all tie by scoring the game’s next 12 points for a 22-10 advantage with 4:43 remaining in the opening period. Glow continued to expand its cushion and led by as many as 29 points in the third quarter.
LEADERBOARD IMPACT
Gardner surged into the top spot on the leaderboard with 2,030 points, while Sims vaulted 15 spots into third place with 1,687 points.
RHYTHM NOTES
- Rhythm initiated a captain’s challenge on an out-of-bounds call with 8:43 remaining in the fourth quarter, which was unsuccessful.
- Forward Isabelle Harrison became the fifth player in AU Pro Basketball history to reach 10,000 career win points after Rhythm won
the fourth quarter on Wednesday … She stands fifth in league history with 10,040 win points. - Forward Aneesah Morrow made her debut as a team captain against Glow on Wednesday morning … Captains are now 13-14 all-time in their debut.
- Morrow also authored her third double-double in four games this season following her 20-point, 16-rebound performance against Glow on Wednesday.
- Morrow became the first player to score 20 or more points and grab 15 or more rebounds in the same game since February 14,2025, when guard Crystal Bradford had 23 points and 15 rebounds against Team Nurse.
- Guard Zia Cooke has scored in double figures in 10 consecutive games dating back to the 2024 campaign after her 23-point outing against Glow to open Week Two.

- Glow’s 110 points against Rhythm on Wednesday are the most by any team in the league this season … It is also the third time a team has eclipsed the 100-point mark in a game.
- Glow scored 34 points in the first quarter, which are the most by a team this season … Glow also held the previous standard with a 33-point effort against Rhythm on February 4.
- Glow erupted for 59 points in the first half against Rhythm on Wednesday, which is the most by any team in the opening 20 minutes this season … The previous high was 53 points scored by Eclipse against Gold Rush on February 5 and matched by Eclipse against Glow on February 6.
- All 10 players scored for Glow, marking the third time this season every player on a team has registered at least one point … Both Gold Rush and Eclipse had all 10 players score on February 4.
