Miami Ohio's Karli Spaid signs with AU Pro Softball
Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball has signed outfielder Karli Spaid for the 2024 season. Spaid will compete at AUX in Wichita, Kansas from June 10 to June 25, and the Championship season in Rosemont, Illinois, which begins on July 26.
Spaid is a member of the 2024 College Draft Class after a historic career at the University of Miami (Ohio). Her name is scattered across the Redhawks, Mid-American Conference (MAC), and NCAA record books.
Spaid ranks second in NCAA history with 103 career home runs, trailing only the long-ball queen and fellow AUX signee Jocelyn Alo’s 122 career total.
She broke the MAC single-season record for homers with 36 total in 2024, which ranks second in NCAA history for home runs in a single season. She also owns the conference records for 267 career hits and 253 RBIs. Her 56 career stolen bases stand second in Miami (Ohio) history.
She was named a Top 10 finalist for the Player of the Year by USA Softball.
The fifth season of AU Pro Softball takes AUX on the road to Wichita, Kansas from June 10 to June 25 then to Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois later in the summer. Tickets for AUX and the 2024 Championship season are on sale.
