Our 2021 Lacrosse Athletes and their Causes
The Athlete Causes program, powered by Give Lively, will provide funding to charities of the players’ choosing equal to 50% of their season bonus and players will have the opportunity to create their own fundraising pages to support the organizations of their choice.

The Arc Carroll County: The Arc Carroll County is a leading organization that champions for and supports people with developmental disabilities, while cultivating relationships that enrich their community. The mission of The Arc is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their individual pursuit of a fulfilling life.

Morgan’s Message: Morgan’s Message strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics. They aim to expand the dialogue on mental health by normalizing conversations, empowering those who suffer in silence, and supporting those who feel alone.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is changing the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

Zaching Against Cancer: The Zaching Against Cancer Foundation (ZACF) improves the quality of life for cancer patients and their caregivers by providing support through direct patient services and programs, scholarships and grants. Text ZACHING to 44321.
CityLax: CityLax, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of the students we serve through the game of lacrosse. Their goal is to help students achieve success by supporting them on and off the field. They use lacrosse to attract middle school and high school students and allow them to see a brighter future for themselves.
The Trevor Project: The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.

GiGi’s Playhouse: GiGi’s Playhouse aims to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all. They change lives through consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community, through a replicable playhouse model.

Friends of Jaclyn: The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for children battling pediatric brain tumors and other childhood cancers by pairing them with local teams, clubs and community groups.

NAACP Legal Defense Fund: Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.
One Love Foundation: Love is the most important thing in our lives, yet we are taught very little about it. One Love is on a mission to change that. They educate young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse and learn how to love better.

The Sports Bra Project: The Sports Bra Project (TSBP) increases access to sports by providing sports bras to girls & women in areas where the lack of access to this basic piece of equipment can prevent participation. By supporting female athletes needs TSBP works to increase access to sports and normalize the needs and experiences of female athletes. The Sports Bra Project (TSBP) is a US based 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to supporting access and athletes in all sports.
End 68 Hours of Hunger: 100% volunteer non-profit providing non perishable food to students over the weekend.
Preston’s League: Preston’s League provides weekly wish lists for pediatric patients who need bone marrow transplants for diseases such as cancer and sickle cell anemia in order to help them during their long hospital stays.

We Fight Like Girls: In the last 2 years, Marguerite and Mikaela have fought and BEAT both ovarian and breast cancer, respectively. Although we beat our cancers, we now fight for those who lost the fight, who won the fight, those still fighting, and those who are unaware of the fight that lies ahead.
Team IMPACT: Because no child should be sidelined by sickness. Team IMPACT tackles the emotional trauma and social isolation experienced by children facing serious and chronic illnesses by matching them with a college athletic team. Through our two-year therapeutic program that complements their medical treatments, children develop relationships and skills that help them complete the full circle of healing.
Women in Sports Tech: Women in Sports Tech (WiST) is a non-profit organization driving growth opportunities for women at all stages of their careers throughout the sports tech industry, from interns to executive leadership roles.
Argentina Lacrosse: Supporting the growth and development of lacrosse in Argentina and across Latin America.
The Surfrider Foundation: The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.

Play Like a Girl!®: Play Like a Girl!® leverages the skills gained from sport to propel young women into competitive, male-dominated careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Unity House of Troy: A Rensselaer County-based human service agency that provides a wide range of services to meet the otherwise unmet needs of people in our community who are hurting and struggling.
The OUT Foundation: The OUT Foundation’s mission is to remove the barriers that block LGBTQ+ individuals’ access and participation in health, wellness, and fitness to ensure their success. We are dedicated to nurturing, empowering, and celebrating LGBTQ+ bodies and minds to guarantee that our community thrives.
Play 4: Play4 is building a non-profit lifestyle apparel company that will bring awareness and financial support to a range of causes that youth care about. Although the company supports a range of causes, Play4’s most important focus is on supporting youth sports organizations in underprivileged communities around the country.

Black Heart Association: Black Heart Association is at the forefront of research, prevention, treatment, and education surrounding heart disease in the Black community. Our mission is to significantly lower the number of Black deaths caused by heart disease and stroke each year by bridging the gap between the black community, proper screening, and health care.
Rising Hearts: Rising Hearts is an Indigenous led grassroots organization committed to the heart work in elevating Indigenous voices, promoting and supporting intersectional collaborative efforts across all movements with the goals of racial, social, climate, and economic justice. Our primary focuses are to inform, elevate, mobilize, engage, and organize through strategic and targeted advocacy, establishing collaborative and meaningful partnerships to help create a better and safer future, and environment for all relatives who inhabit this planet – past, present and future.
