ATHLETES UNLIMITED PARTNERS WITH TOPPS TO PRODUCE EXCLUSIVE SOFTBALL TRADING CARDS
The deal represents the First Women’s Pro Softball League Set in Topps 82-Year History
Athletes Unlimited announced an agreement with The Topps Company to create an online exclusive trading card set commemorating the inaugural softball league.
The Athletes Unlimited Softball limited edition trading cards sell for $20 and feature 57 of the world’s best players including 17 Olympians from four countries (USA, Canada, Mexico and Italy) and players like Cat Osterman, Jazmyn Jackson, Victoria Hayward, Amanda Chidester, Aleshia Ocasio, Haylie Wagner, Samantha Show, Tori Vidales and Jessica Warren among others who are competing at Parkway Bank Sports Complex from Aug. 29 – Sept. 28.
In addition to the 57 individual player cards, the set will include four “About the League” cards. Topps will also offer a special “Championship Set”, now available for purchase, that features the Athletes Unlimited Softball League Champion, Defensive Player of the Season and other award and highlight cards.
The deal represents Topps first women’s professional softball set in the iconic company’s 82-year history. Topps has a longstanding tradition of bringing collectors unique opportunities to capture the best moments from across all sports and entertainment properties.
