2025 AU Pro Volleyball Championship: Movers of Week 3
Week Three of the Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball Championship belonged to Reagan Cooper’s squad in orange, but no player among them climbed higher than Brooke Nuneviller.
The outside hitter jumped 11 spots on the leaderboard to fifth overall after a complete three-match stretch that showcased both her offensive and defensive consistency. Nuneviller piled up 838 leaderboard points for the week, after solidifying herself as a solid go-to attacker in Cooper’s offense, and ranking second among outside hitters in the digs category.
She started her run with 8 kills, 11 digs, and an ace against Team Valentin-Anderson on Thursday, followed by a balanced 9-kill, 12-dig performance against Team McCage on Saturday. Then, on Sunday, she capped the weekend with 11 kills–just one shy of her season high–along with 9 digs to earn MVP 3 honors and her third MVP award of the Championship.
Her Week Three surge also came with some major career milestones. Nuneviller became the fifth player in AU Pro Volleyball history to record 400 career kills and the 12th to reach 10 career Match MVPs. She’s now posted double-digit kills in 25 career matches.
After a week that proved her value in all six rotations, it was no surprise that Nuneviller was selected first overall in the Week Four draft. She’ll now team up with Captain Morgan Hentz for the final week of competition.

Sandbothe Shines for Team Cooper
Taylor Sandbothe was part of Team Cooper’s surge in Week Three, rising 10 places from 24th to 14th on the leaderboard. She opened the week by hitting .533 with eight kills on 15 swings and no errors against Team Valentin-Anderson for a performance that earned her MVP 1 honors.
Sandbothe also added three blocks in that match, matching her season high, and repeated the feat in Sunday’s win over Team Thompson. She’s now tied for the league lead in service aces (0.33 per set) and ranked second among middle blockers with 230 stat points in Week Three.
Monserez Meets the Moment
Setter Marlie Monserez made the most of her first starting assignment of the season, leading the offense for Team Cooper and turning it into her highest-scoring week of the season.
She ranked second in the league in assists (109), dishing out 36 versus Team Valentin-Anderson, 37 against Team McCage, and another 36 in Team Cooper’s biggest win of the week over Team Thompson.
Monserez earned 685 leaderboard points, climbing eight spots from 25th to 17th, and finished eighth overall in stat points for the week, proving her rise wasn’t fueled by win points alone.
Kingdon Rishel on the Rise
Madi Kingdon Rishel became the first player this season to surpass Jordan Thompson in stat points, collecting 398 across three matches. With MVP 1 and MVP 3 honors to her name, she raised her total leaderboard score to 1,846 and climbed eight spots to sixth heading into the final week of play.
Her top showing came in the Week Three opener against Team McCage, where she delivered 13 kills, a season-high 15 digs, and an ace. She added an 11-kill outing versus Team Valentin-Anderson and came close to another double-double with 9 kills and 10 digs against Team Cooper.
