G'mrice Davis
Biography
Personal: Davis is one of four children in her family and majored in business administration at Fordham. Her hobbies include cooking and playing video games. As a child, she played softball and competed on the track and field team, along with singing in her school choir.
2023 Season: G’mrice Davis secured 22nd place in the final league standings with 3,538 leaderboard points, including 2,650 win points. She registered six games with 300 or more leaderboard points during her first Athletes Unlimited season, including a season-high 421 points against Team Sims in the Week Five opener. Davis appeared in all 15 games with 11 starts and averaged 7.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest. She authored four double-digit scoring performances, including two instances during Week One. Davis closed the opening week of the season with 18 points against Team Sims, making 8-of-14 shots from the field and both free throw attempts. She netted 13 points against Team Cole in her Athletes Unlimited debut on February 22. She also scored 11 points against Team Mitchell on March 8 and Team Smith on March 24. Davis grabbed a season-high nine rebounds in back-to-back efforts against Team Hillmon (March 15) and Team Bell (March 17).
Other Professional Experience: Davis appeared in four games for Tenerife in LF Endesa during the 2022-23 season, where she averaged 7.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. She tallied 10 points against Estudiantes (October 6) and Leganes (October 16). Davis also played for Hapoel Jerusalem in 2024-25, averaging 11 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
At Fordham: Davis was a four-year letter winner at Fordham, where she started 96 of 125 games from 2014 to 2018. She stands eighth on the Rams’ all-time games played ledger. She is one of two players in Fordham history with 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds and is second in school history with 1,199 career rebounds. Davis ranks fifth on Fordham’s career scoring list with 1,497 points and owns the program record with 57 career double-double performances, including a single-season record 27 double-doubles as a senior. She tallied seven double-doubles in 16 career postseason games and posted eight career games with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Davis was honored as the 2018 Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
She was a two-time First-Team All-Atlantic 10 and Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team selection and the first player in program history to receive All-America honors by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association after garnering an Honorable Mention nod in 2018. Davis claimed First-Team All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association distinction as a junior and senior and was a four-time Atlantic 10 Player of the Week Award recipient. She led Fordham in rebounding as a junior and senior and scored a career-high 31 points against Saint Louis on January 6, 2018. She grabbed a career-best 21 rebounds against Grambling State on November 27, 2016, and against Davidson on February 10, 2018. Davis also tallied 13 consecutive double-double performances from December 28, 2017, to February 10, 2018.
