Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball features a fast-paced, full-court, 5-on-5 format with an innovative scoring system.
PLAYER DRIVEN
AU Pro Basketball is the premiere destination for elite professional women’s basketball players in the offseason of the WNBA to play 5v5 basketball with full seasons airing on ESPN platforms.
TOP TALENT
AU Pro Basketball features top talent on the court and the sidelines, including WNBA All-Stars, Champions, and Hall of Famers.
Off the court, the athletes recruit fellow pros, create league rules, and retain equity in the league. On the court, the top four players become new captains each week and draft their teams from scratch for each week’s games.
ANYONE CAN SCORE BIG
In our scoring system, every player can lose or win points during every game. Athletes score points as individuals and as a team to win MVP titles and cash bonuses. After each game, players and fans get a chance to vote for their MVP.

AU Pro Basketball Teams
Guided by player feedback, AU Pro Basketball is introducing an evolution in team identities. While the format and scoring system will remain the same, the teams themselves are getting a fresh, exciting look with new, dynamic team names. The league’s four teams will be known as Gold Rush (gold), Glow (orange), Rhythm (blue), and Eclipse (purple).
