Biography
Personal: Reagan Cooper is the daughter of Reginald and Leslie Cooper. Her father played football at Nebraska before playing one season with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Reagan Cooper has two sisters named Taylor and Harper.
Other Professional Experience: Reagan Cooper was selected 14th overall by the Columbus Fury of the Pro Volleyball Federation in the 2023 United States College Player Draft. Cooper earned PVF’s Rising Star Award as the league’s top rookie while receiving All-League Second Team status. Reagan Cooper led the Fury with 339 kills and 4.13 kills per set across 23 matches. She ranked fourth in the league in kills. Reagan Cooper put down 20 kills six times in 2024, including a season-high 29 kills. Reagan Cooper joined the Omaha Supernovas for the 2025 PVF season. She compiled 265 kills with a .378 hitting percentage to go with 165 digs, 13 blocks, and 13 service aces.
International Experience: Reagan Cooper earned tournament MVP honors after leading Team USA to a Gold medal at the 2025 NORCECA Final Six.
At Kansas: Reagan Cooper transferred to Kansas for the 2023 season after competing at Texas Tech from 2020-22. Cooper also played at Washington State as a freshman in the 2019 season. She totaled 1,104 career kills with 167 total blocks and 180 digs. Cooper appeared in 90 sets across 26 matches in her lone year with the Jayhawks in 2023. She registered 349 kills with 46 digs and 42 total blocks. Reagan Cooper earned AVCA All-America Third-Team honors and a spot on the AVCA All-Region First Team as a graduate student. She also claimed 2023 All-Big 12 Conference First Team recognition. Cooper posted at least 10 kills in 20 matches, including 20 kills in five contests. Reagan Cooper recorded a season-high 29 kills on a .464 hitting percentage against Penn State in the NCAA Tournament.
At Texas Tech: Reagan Cooper appeared in 99 sets over 26 matches during her final year at Texas Tech in 2022. Cooper ranked second on the team with 285 kills and a .287 hitting percentage. She also compiled 67 digs and 42 total blocks. Reagan Cooper pitched in at least 10 kills in 16 matches, including 15 or more kills in seven contests. Cooper totaled a season-high 25 kills with three digs and two blocks against Oklahoma. Cooper saw action in 109 sets over 29 matches in 2021 for the Red Raiders. Sheranked second on the team with 285 kills and a 2.61 kills per set average. She also posted 41 digs and 50 total blocks. Cooper put down double-digit kill totals in 16 outings, including 15 or more kills three times. Reagan Cooper set a season high with 19 kills along with three total blocks against West Virginia. She also posted a season high with five total blocks against West Virginia in the previous match. Reagan Cooper debuted with Texas Tech in 2020 by appearing in 17 matches. Reagan Cooper ranked fourth on the team with 132 kills. Reagan Cooper collected 26 total blocks and 15 digs. Cooper reached 10 kills in a match seven times, including 15 kills with five total blocks against Houston. Reagan Cooper boasted a season-high 17 kills in the season finale against SMU.
At Washington State: Reagan Cooper opened her college career with Washington State in 2019, appearing in 19 sets over 11 matches as a true freshman. Cooper totaled 39 kills, five blocks, and nine digs in her lone season with the Cougars.
