Biography
Personal: Hoffman is the daughter of Gary and Stephanie Hoffman. Her brother, Spencer, played basketball at Colorado Christian, while her mother competed in track and field at Oregon and her father played in the NFL for two seasons after a collegiate career at Santa Clara. Hoffman has a dog named Charlie and considers her college coach, Keegan Cook, a mentor. Her hobbies include watching movies, hiking, and listening to music, and she can play the guitar, ukulele, and piano.
Other Professional Experience: Hoffman played for Beziers Volleyball Club in the French league during the 2023-24 season.
At Washington: Hoffman was a five-year player at Washington, where she competed in 121 matches and 463 total sets from 2018 to 2022. She finished her college career with 1,571 kills and 896 digs. A three-time AVCA All-America and All-Region performer, Hoffman also earned three All-Pac-12 Conference certificates and became the third player in Washington history to receive three All-America selections. In 2022, as a fifth-year player, Hoffman was named to the AVCA All-America Second Team after starting 31 matches. She recorded a career-high 493 kills with a .272 hitting percentage, along with 47 service aces, 238 digs, and 35 total blocks. Hoffman reached double figures in kills in all but two matches that season, including posting 10 double-doubles. She recorded 20 kills or more in eight contests, with a season-high 26 kills against Arizona State. In 2021, she earned AVCA All-America Third Team honors, guiding the Huskies to a Pac-12 title and an NCAA quarterfinal appearance. She had 405 kills on a career-best .306 hitting percentage and 42 service aces. Hoffman led the team in kills while hitting .300 or better, a program first. As a junior in 2020, Hoffman was named to the AVCA All-America Second Team. She posted 314 kills, 33 service aces, 190 digs, and 43 total blocks, helping her team reach the NCAA Final Four. She was a major contributor throughout her time at Washington, excelling in all facets of the game, including defense and serving, with multiple double-doubles throughout her career. Hoffman also played beach volleyball at Washington in 2020.
