Megan Faraimo is a 6-foot-0 professional softball pitcher from Oceanside, California. She was acquired in the 1st Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at UCLA.

Personal Life

Career & Education: Serves on the USA Softball Board of Directors and the AUSL Player Executive Committee. Majored in communications at UCLA.

Background: Traveled to American Samoa to teach kids how to play softball. Has a dog named Mojo.

Professional Experience

Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball, AUX & AUSL (2023–2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Tallied 574 total leaderboard points. Authored a 3.68 ERA with 14 strikeouts and pitched a complete game against Team Kowalik on August 24.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Helped the Talons win the inaugural AUSL title, compiling a 3-1 record with two saves, a 4.91 ERA, and 38 strikeouts.

2024 Championship Season: Totaled a career-high 1,314 leaderboard points. Posted a 3-4 record with a 2.88 ERA and 35 strikeouts.

2023 Championship Season: AU Pro Softball Rookie of the Year. Placed 24th with 1,214 points. Threw the second no-hitter in AU history on August 6.

2023 AUX Season: Compiled 824 leaderboard points, going 2-1 with a 4.41 ERA.

Other Professional & International Experience (2022–2026)

Japan Diamond League & LMS: Played for Toyota Red Terriers (2023). Played for Diablos Rojos del Mexico (2025), where she threw the first perfect game in league history and led the league in wins (14), ERA (1.33), and strikeouts (130).

Team USA: Earned All-World Team honors after leading Team USA to a Gold medal at the 2025 World Games (0.00 ERA, 17 K). Won Gold at the 2022 World Games and Silver at the 2024 WBSC World Cup Finals.

College Experience: UCLA (2019–2023)

Career Statistics: Authored a 101-16 career record with a 1.44 ERA and 1,000 strikeouts over 707.2 innings. Threw four career perfect games.

Graduate Year (2023): Fashioned a 1.42 ERA with a 29-3 record and 232 strikeouts.

Senior Year (2022): Established a UCLA single-season record with seven saves and struck out 292 batters.
