Personal: Boccagno is the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Boccagno and has a younger brother named Tommy. She earned a bachelor's degree in business from Boston College and a master's degree in communications from Arizona State. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, playing pickleball, cooking, and spending time with friends. She credits former Boston College assistant coach Olivia Watkins as someone who has made a difference in her life. Outside of softball, Boccagno competed in soccer and bowling during her high school career. Her walk-up songs are "Transportin" by Kodak Black and "I Feel Good" by Pitbull. She chose to wear the number 64 because it represents the total of the three jersey numbers she has worn throughout her career.
