Taylor Mikesell Signs with AU Pro Basketball for 2025 Season

Taylor Mikesell has signed with Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Massillon, Ohio native began her college career with Maryland, where she was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year. She averaged 13.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in her freshman season and earned First-Team All-Big Ten recognition by the media.

Mikesell transferred to Oregon for her junior season. She appeared in 24 games with 20 starts and averaged 9.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. She led Oregon with 39 three-pointers.

She spent her final two seasons with Ohio State. She started all 32 games in her senior season and averaged 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. She led the Big Ten in three-point percentage (.475), three-pointers per game (3.6), and three-pointers made (114). Those marks ranked second in the NCAA.

Mikesell reached 2,000 career points during the 2022-23 season. She set the program record for three-pointers made in an NCAA Tournament game with seven treys in the Elite 8 against Virginia Tech. She was named one of five finalists for the Ann Meyers-Drysdale Award in 2022 and to the All-Big Ten First Team in 2022 and 2023 by coaches and the media.

She was selected 13th overall in the 2nd round of the 2023 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever but was waived before the start of the season. She appeared in six games with the Atlanta Dream in June 2023 and most recently competed with Lointek Gernika Bizkaia in Spain.
