Two Texas Softball standouts have re-signed with Athletes Unlimited for the upcoming summer of softball.

2022’s Rookie of the Year Shannon Rhodes and fellow Longhorn Nadia Taylor will compete in the 2023 AUX and Championship Seasons. Both competitions will take place at The Stadium at Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Ill.

Rhodes made a stellar return to the sport after a year off from softball, starting with AUX in San Diego and it carried over to Rosemont for championship season. Taylor has competed with the league since its inception and has had a lengthy career as a pro. At AU, she has started in 33 games and holds a .220 average and .430 slugging percentage. In the off-season, Taylor worked as the assistant softball coach at Michigan State. She was a four-year letter winner for Texas Softball from 2009-12.
