Aleshia Ocasio is set to continue her professional career with Athletes Unlimited. This summer she will compete in AUX and Championship Season in Rosemont, Ill.

The pitcher has competed every season since the league’s inception and was the 2021 champion. She was also named to the All-Defensive Team that year. In her three championship seasons, Ocasio holds a career 3.05 ERA  with 30 appearances and she’s started 21 games with a 13-8 record.

She is one of only three players in AU Softball history with multiple 500-point weeks; Ocasio owns three career 500-point weeks, while Cat Osterman and Amanda Chidester hit the 500-point plateau twice.

This will be Ocasio’s sixth year in pro softball after finishing her career at Florida as a four-year letter winner for the Gators. She has also competed internationally as a member of Team Puerto Rico since 2013. Most recently, Ocasio participated in the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Ala. and excelled with a 3-0 record and 0.40 earned run average.

Athletes Unlimited Softball returns with AUX on June 12.
