
Recap: Siegrist's Second-Half Run Leads Team Siegrist to 79-74 Win
NASHVILLE — Forward Maddy Siegrist scored 17 of her game-high 25 points in the second half to lead Team Siegrist to a 79-74 victory over Team Bradford in the finale of Saturday’s Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball doubleheader at Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Saturday evening.
Team Siegrist improves to 2-0 on the week, while Team Bradford sees its record even at 1-1.
Siegrist, who shot 7-for-15 from the field and 10-of-11 at the free throw line, secured Game MVP honors for the 11th consecutive game after garnering MVP 1 recognition and 628 leaderboard points. The Villanova product also contributed five rebounds and three assists while upping her record as a captain to 7-1 this season.
Guard Bria Hartley added an MVP 3 commendation after pitching in 13 points with six rebounds and four assists in the win for Team Siegrist.
Guard Lexie Brown, meanwhile, paced Team Bradford in the loss with a season-high 24 points to collect MVP 2 plaudits and 373 leaderboard points. The former Duke standout was 9-of-21 shooting from the field and also matched her season high with seven rebounds.
Guard Christyn Williams added 11 points for Team Siegrist, while center Elizabeth Williams pulled down a season-high 12 rebounds. Guard Taj Cole narrowly missed a double-double with a career-high 10 rebounds while adding nine points in the victory.
Captain Crystal Bradford registered a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds in her squad’s loss, while forward G’mrice Davis poured in a season-best 15 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor.
KEY MOMENT
Team Siegrist overcame a five-point deficit in the second quarter by going on a 22-4 run spanning the second and third quarters to secure a 50-37 advantage. Team Bradford narrowed the gap to 77-74 after a three-pointer from Shey Peddy with 1:59 left in regulation, but two free throws by Siegrist with 1:06 left sealed the verdict.
LEADERBOARD IMPACT
Siegrist enters the final day of the season on top of the leaderboard with 6,851 points and holds a 907-point advantage over guard Odyssey Sims. Bradford and guard Tyasha Harris round out the top four spots with forward Maya Caldwell just one point behind Harris for the No. 4 position.

Team Bradford initiated a captain’s challenge with 2:45 remaining in the third quarter on an out-of-bounds call, which was successfully overturned.
