NASHVILLE — Guard Odyssey Sims registered the fourth triple-double in Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball history and forward Maddy Siegrist added a record-setting effort of her own as Team Siegrist surged past Team Harris for a 101-79 victory in the opening game of Friday’s Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball doubleheader at Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

The win allowed Team Siegrist to improve to 2-0, while Team Harris dipped to 1-1.

Sims, who now owns three of the league’s four all-time triple-double efforts, scored 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field and a perfect 3-for-3 at the free-throw line, while adding 12 assists and 10 rebounds. The former Baylor star earned MVP 2 distinction in addition to 782 leaderboard points for her record-setting performance.

Siegrist, meanwhile, earned Game MVP honors for the fifth consecutive game after earning MVP 1 distinction along with a league-record 871 leaderboard points. She poured in a career-high 35 points after making 15-of-22 field goal attempts, including 3-of-5 three-point tries, while chipping in a game-high 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the campaign.

Forward Isabelle Harrison completed the Game MVP trio for Team Siegrist after adding 22 points with six rebounds. The former Tennessee standout was 9-for-15 from the floor, including a 4-of-7 performance from three-point range, en route to a season-high 638 leaderboard points.

Guard Lexie Brown paced three Team Harris players in double figures after compiling a season-high 19 points, while guard Rebecca Harris came off the bench to match her career high with 17 markers. Center Elizabeth Williams chipped in 14 points with five rebounds for Team Harris in the setback.

KEY MOMENT

Team Siegrist took control of the game early, using a 24-4 run to claim a 26-8 lead it did not relinquish. Harrison and Siegrist led the charge during the outburst by scoring nine points apiece.

LEADERBOARD IMPACT

Sims moved into first place on the Week Two leaderboard with her triple-double effort, giving her a 169-point advantage over Siegrist. Harrison, meanwhile, vaulted up the weekly standings 12 spots into third place and has 1,213 points through two games. Siegrist, however, holds first place on the season leaderboard with 2,833 points.
