Recap: Odyssey Sims anchors Glow in 91-80 victory against Eclipse
NASHVILLE — Guard Odyssey Sims anchored a group of six players in double figures with a game-high 25 points as Glow used a strong second half to surge past Eclipse for a 91-80 victory in Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball action at Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Friday night.
The win elevated Glow’s Week Two record to 2-0, while Eclipse dropped to 1-1 after falling for the first time in two weeks.
Sims, who earned Game MVP honors for the fourth consecutive game, made 10-of-23 shots from the field along with going 5-for-7 from the free throw line en route to securing MVP 2 distinction and 552 leaderboard points.
Guard Rebekah Gardner claimed MVP 3 accolades after making 5-of-8 shots from the field en route to 14 points, while guard Sarah Ashlee Barker added 12 points with four rebounds.
Forward Natasha Mack chipped in her third double-double in the last four games after netting 11 points with a game-high 13 rebounds, while guard Kierstan Bell and forward Emma Cannon each tallied 10 points apiece.
Guard Shey Peddy paced Eclipse in the loss with 19 points, seven assists, and five rebounds to garner MVP 1 recognition. She was 7-for-14 from the field, including a 5-of-8 showing from three-point range, while claiming 334 leaderboard points.
Forward Alysha Clark, who suffered her first loss in five games as a captain, contributed a season-high 17 points while forward Alissa Pili came off the bench to score 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor.
KEY MOMENT
With the score tied at 37-all, Glow scored 18 of the next 26 points to take a 55-45 lead with 5:45 remaining in the third quarter. Glow never trailed again and led by as many as 19 points in the fourth quarter.
LEADERBOARD IMPACT
Sims rose four places on the season leaderboard and now stands second with 2,239 total points. Gardner remains the season leader with 2,499 total points, while Mack has moved into third place with 2,132 leaderboard points.
ECLIPSE NOTES
- Eclipse requested a captain’s challenge with 2:43 remaining in the second quarter on a foul called against forward Alysha Clark, which was unsuccessful.
- Clark registered her first double-digit scoring output this season … She had averaged 7.5 points per game in her first four outings.
- Guard Ariel Atkins reached double figures in scoring for the third time in five games this season.
- Guard Shey Peddy authored her ninth career double-digit scoring effort after finishing with 19 points … She has scored 10 or more points in 4-of-5 games this season after being limited to just two points in her season opener on February 4.
- Forward Alissa Pili reached double figures for the second straight game after joining the roster earlier this week … She has scored 10 or more points in 11-of-14 career AU Pro Basketball games.
- Center Tina Charles was ejected from the game after receiving two technical fouls with 4:18 remaining in the first quarter.

- Glow saw all five starters score in double figures against Eclipse on Friday … It is the first time a team has featured all five starters in double figures since February 20, 2025, when Team Caldwell did it against Team Siegrist.
- Guard Odyssey Sims ran her streak of consecutive double-digit scoring efforts to 29 games in a row after netting 11 points during the first half … She also extended her league record by scoring 25 or more points for the 26th time in her career.
