Hoops: Meet the Week 5 Teams
The final week of Athletes Unlimited Basketball has arrived.
After a thrilling weekend of games, which included a half-court buzzer beater from Sydney Colson, the last captains of the season took their seats at the Week 5 Draft and selected their rosters.
At the top of the leaderboard for the third consecutive week is Tianna Hawkins with 5,425 points. Hawkins holds the league lead in rebounds (121) and is second in points (283) to DiJonai Carrington.
Natasha Cloud will wear the orange jersey this week as the No. 2 captain. She is 718 points behind Hawkins on the leaderboard.
Isabelle Harrison, who has 4,527 points, will captain the blue team, while Lexie Brown will slide back into the captain chair, this time in a purple jersey. It will be the first week Brown has worn any color besides orange.
Harrison and Cloud also join Cat Osterman (Softball, 2020), Bethania De La Cruz (Volleyball, 2021), Jordan Larson (Volleyball, 2021) and Sahvanna Jaquish (Softball, 2021) as the only players in all Athletes Unlimited sports to be a 4-time captain in the same season.
