Gwen Svekis re-signs for AU Pro Softball Championship season
Svekis has played with the league since its inception and enters her fifth year with AU Pro Softball. She has placed in the top 10 on the final leaderboard three times and has been named to the All-Defensive team twice.
She most recently earned fifth place in the 2023 Championship season, authoring a 12-3 game win record that tied Odicci Alexander and Alyssa Denham in the league. She started in all 15 games, posted a .209 batting average, and earned three MVP nods.
In her 72 games with the league, Svekis has a career batting average of .264, a .500 slugging percentage, and a .988 fielding percentage.
