Alissa Pili Joins AU Pro Basketball as Injury Replacement
Alissa Pili will replace Air Hearn for the remainder of Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball Season 5 after Hearn suffered an injury that will keep her out of action for the rest of the competition’s four-week schedule. Pili was drafted by Alysha Clark to the Eclipse team for Week Two as a forward.
Pili returns to AU Pro Basketball after competing in the 2025 season, where she secured 2,272 leaderboard points. She scored in double figures in 9-of-12 games, including five of her final six outings, and earned starting assignments in 11-of-12 contests. She ranked 10th in the league with a 12.1 scoring average while adding 3.7 rebounds per game and shot 43.2 percent from the field.
Her best performance came when she earned MVP 2 recognition after scoring a season-high 20 points against Team Bell on February 8, 2025. She also established a season high with 599 leaderboard points after making 7-of-15 field goal attempts and 5-of-6 free throws while adding five rebounds, five fouls drawn, and three steals. She tallied 17 points and four rebounds against Team Sims on February 20, 2025, and opened her AU career with 14 points and a season-best nine rebounds against Team Harrison.

Pili split her time between the Minnesota Lynx and the Los Angeles Sparks during the 2025 WNBA season, averaging 2.3 points and one rebound per game. She scored a season-high eight points in June for the Lynx.
After being selected with the eighth overall pick by Minnesota in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Pili appeared in 22 games off the bench as a rookie, contributing 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest. She scored a career-high 20 points against Phoenix on May 31, 2024, converting 7-of-9 shots from the field, including all four 3-pointers.
Pili played her first three seasons at USC before transferring to Utah for her final two years. She appeared in 128 total games over her five-year career from 2019-24, finishing with 2,168 career points and 779 rebounds. She was a two-time Associated Press and USBWA All-America choice and earned First-Team All-Pac-12 Conference honors twice at Utah, including Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2022-23.
She set Utah’s single-season record by scoring 727 points during the 2023-24 campaign and became the fastest player in Utah history to accumulate 1,000 points, reaching the milestone in just 48 games. She erupted for a career-high 37 points against No. 1 South Carolina and No. 6 USC during her final collegiate season.
