Biography
Personal: Lorenne Teixeira is married to her husband, Vitor Santos. She has three dogs named Luma, Shuri, and Theo. Lorenne Teixeira models her game after former AU Pro Volleyball athlete Sheilla Castro. She enjoys reading books, shopping, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. Her proudest accomplishment is competing at the Paris Olympics.
Other Professional Experience: Lorenne Teixeira has played professionally since 2011, debuting with Batavo Mackenzie in Brazil. She played with EC Pinheiros from 2012-16. Lorenne Teixeira joined Rexon/Ades in 2015-16 before also appearing for Sesi Volei Bauru and Sesi-SP. She played for Osasco/Audax and Sao Paulo FC before spending time with Sesc-RI/Flamengo in 2020. Lorenne Teixeira moved to Saitama Ageo Medics in Japan for 2021-22. She became a member of Lokomotiv Kaliningrad in Russia in 2022. Lorenne Teixeira returned to Brazil with Osasco/Sao Cristovao Saude in 2023 and Sesi Volei Bauru in 2024. She is set to play with VakifBank for the 2025-26 season before debuting in the United States with Athletes Unlimited. Lorenne Teixeira has claimed one Brazilian Super League title, one South American Cup Championship title, and three Gold medals in the Brazilian Cup.
International Experience: Lorenne Teixeira is a member of the Brazilian National Team. She earned a Bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Lorenne Teixeira earned a Silver medal at the 2022 World Championships. She led Brazil to a Gold medal in the 2019 and 2021 South American Championships. Lorenne Teixeira is a three-time Silver medalist in the Volleyball Nations League. She guided Brazil to a Silver medal at the 2022 World Championships. Lorenne Teixeira garnered a Bronze medal at the 2013 U19 World Championships.
