Blake Mohler
Biography
Personal: Mohler is one of three children in her family and is the daughter of Guy and Kathy Mohler.
Other Professional Experience: Mohler spent three seasons playing professional volleyball in Europe. Her journey commenced with VfB Suhl Lotto Thüringen in Germany during the 2020-21 season. She competed with Volley Düdingen in 2021-22, before concluding the 2022-23 campaign with Béziers Volley in France.
At Purdue: During her time at Purdue, Mohler was a five-year letter winner, appearing in 480 sets over 128 matches from 2015-19. She posted 976 kills and a .332 hitting percentage. She ranks sixth in Purdue history with 497 total blocks, and third with 425 block assists. Her exceptional performance earned her recognition as a two-time AVCA All-America selection, including Third-Team honors in the 2018 season, and Honorable Mention AVCA All-America in 2019. Additionally, she was named First-Team AVCA All-Mideast Region performer in both her redshirt junior and senior years. Mohler also earned two First-Team All-Big Ten Conference selections. She received Academic All-Big Ten four times.
Mohler consistently led the Boilermakers in hitting percentage and total blocks. In her redshirt senior year, she contributed 248 kills on 490 attempts, achieving an impressive .333 hitting percentage. Her .358 hitting percentage in the 2018 season ranked her sixth in the competitive Big Ten conference. Notable achievements include MVP honors at both the Stacy Clark Classic and Alabama's Crimson and White Tournament. As a redshirt sophomore, she secured 224 kills and ranked 12th in the Big Ten with 140 blocks. As a redshirt freshman, Mohler appeared in all 33 matches and averaged 1.48 kills and 0.92 blocks per set.
