Syracuse Star Dyaisha Fair Signs with AU Pro Basketball for 2025 Season
Dyaisha Fair, the third-leading scorer in NCAA Division I history, is joining Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for its 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee this February.
Fair was selected 16th overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Las Vegas Aces.
She signed a rookie contract with the Aces following the 2024 draft and made her season debut on May 25, 2024, registering 2 assists in 4 minutes played, before being waived on May 26. She went on to play in Saudi Arabia and Israel
She recorded the second most minutes in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history, playing 5,604 minutes for the University of Buffalo and Syracuse University.
Across five college seasons, Fair scored 3,403 points and averaged 22.3 points per game for the Orange in 2023-24. Her 115 made 3-pointers ranked second-most in the nation.

As a freshman at Buffalo, she was named MAC Freshman of the Year, appearing in 30 games with 26 starts. She was named to the Dawn Staley Award watch list, recognizing the top guard in the country. She was named one of 10 finalists for the Nancy Lieberman Award, honoring the nation’s best point guard.
In her 44th career game (her sophomore season), she became the fastest player in program history and the 14th fastest in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history to reach 1,000 career points. She also recorded Buffalo’s first triple-double in nearly two decades on December 13, 2020, with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.
She was a three-time All-MAC First Team and All-Defensive Team honoree in three seasons at Buffalo.
Fair followed Bulls coach Felisha Legette Jack to Syracuse University for her senior season. She averaged 19.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game for the Orange. She led the ACC in steals per game (2.4). Fair reached 2,500 career points against Boston College on February 5, 2023, joining Caitlin Clark as the only two active Division I women’s basketball players to achieve that sum. Fair was named First Team All-ACC and to the All-ACC Defensive Team. In her graduate season, Fair eclipsed 3,000 career points and finished her career third on the NCAA Division I women’s basketball career scoring list. She received First Team All-ACC recognition.
Fair also competed on the USA Basketball 3×3 U23 Nations League Team in 2023 and at the U23 Women’s World Cup.
