Sequoia Holmes is set to return for her third Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball season, where she will continue a career defined by steady production and leadership across multiple professional leagues around the world.

Holmes finished the 2025 campaign with 3,479 leaderboard points, placing 19th overall. She tied for eighth in win points (2,820) and started all 12 games while averaging 5.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per outing. A highlight came during Week Two, when she helped Team Siegrist set a league record with 1,140 win points.

Holmes matched her career high with 14 points on February 19, sinking 4-of-8 shots from beyond the arc. She also added 11 points and a season-high seven rebounds in the opening week against Team Westbrook and matched that rebounding total twice later in the season.

In her debut AU season in 2024, Holmes finished 16th on the leaderboard with 3,788 points and tied for fifth in win points (3,000). She appeared in all 12 games, averaging 5.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Her AU career began with an impressive 14-point performance in her debut against Team Mitchell, followed by 10 points versus Team Gray the following week.

Holmes is a Las Vegas native and UNLV alum, and was a four-year standout for the Rebels from 2004 to 2008. She totaled 1,485 career points, earning three All-Mountain West honors and the 2006-07 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year award. Holmes remains among UNLV’s all-time leaders in field goals made, attempts, and steals, and she paced the team in both scoring and steals during her final two seasons.

Holmes’ professional career includes 62 WNBA games over four seasons with Houston, Phoenix, San Antonio, and Las Vegas. She averaged 2.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game and posted a career-best 3.3 points per game during the 2017 season with San Antonio. Her overseas career has taken her to Angola, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, and Slovakia.

This summer, Holmes stayed close to her roots by competing in Las Vegas’ Desert Reign Pro City League, a long-time pro-am showcase that draws top professional, college, and high school players from around the region.

Holmes will bring her versatility and leadership to Nashville, where her return to Athletes Unlimited provides another trusted veteran to the 2026 roster.

AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville, Tennessee, with elite talent and electrifying energy, for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026, at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Tickets for the upcoming season are available now.
