Sarah Willis signs contract extension with AU Pro Softball for Championship Season

Willis is a rookie out of the University of Central Florida where she finished her college career after transferring from Washington. At AUX she finished 26th overall on the leaderboard. She made seven appearances with three starts, throwing 23 innings. Willis held opponents to a .222 average and struck out 13 batters.

She was the unanimous selection for the Athletic American Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2023 and a First-Team All-Big 12 Conference pick as a senior, fashioning a 10-11 record with a 2.34 earned run average. Willis is also a two-way player who had 243 at-bats in her career between UCF and Washington. Although she only had a handful of at-bats in Wichita, she hit a double and a home run when given the opportunity in the box.
