DALLAS — Team Gray had four players score in double figures, including a 24-point effort from forward Maddy Siegrist and 20 points from captain Allisha Gray, to rally for a 92-88 victory over Team Cloud to complete Friday night’s Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball doubleheader at Fair Park Coliseum.

The win allowed Team Gray to even its record at 1-1, while Team Cloud dipped to 1-1 in the final week of the season.

Gray, who secured MVP 1 honors for the fifth time in her last six games, registered her 11th consecutive game with 20 or more points after going 7-for-21 from the field, including a 2-of-5 effort from three-point range, while sinking all four of her free throws. She also added five assists and four rebounds to close the evening with 517 leaderboard points.

Guard Grace Berger matched her season high with 16 points while adding six rebounds and six assists, earning her MVP 2 notice and 522 leaderboard points. Berger was 5-for-12 from the field while connecting on five of her six free throws.

Siegrist, meanwhile, earned MVP 3 recognition after authoring her fifth double-double of the season with 24 points and a season-high 13 rebounds. The former Villanova standout was 9-for-20 from the field along with a perfect 6-of-6 at the free throw line en route to a personal season-high 594 leaderboard points.

Guard Tiffany Mitchell paced Team Cloud in the loss with a game-high 25 points to go with eight rebounds. Captain Natasha Cloud nearly registered a triple-double after netting 14 points with 12 assists and seven rebounds.

KEY MOMENT

In a game that saw 11 lead changes, Team Gray overcame an 88-85 deficit with a 7-0 run over the final 2:10 to secure the victory. After guard Lexie Hull made one of her two free throws, Gray evened the score at 88-all with a layup with 1:40 remaining. A lay-up by center Adut Bulgak gave Team Gray a two-point edge before a pair of Siegrist free throws with 5.1 seconds left sealed the outcome.
