DALLAS — Team Harrison made sure Team Sims was not able to mount another fourth quarter comeback as the squad led from start to finish en route to posting a 94-80 victory to complete Wednesday’s Athletes Unlimited Basketball doubleheader at Fair Park Coliseum.

Forward Isabelle Harrison captained her team to the victory by posting a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds to secure MVP 1 honors and a game-high 546 leaderboard points. The former Tennessee standout was 10-of-25 shooting from the floor and also dished out five assists with two blocks.

Guard Kelsey Mitchell earned her league-leading ninth Game MVP award with the MVP 2 distinction following her 17-point, 8-rebound performance. Mitchell, who also tallied four assists, amassed 502 leaderboard points, including 142 stat points.

Guard Kierstan Bell led Team Sims in the loss with 23 points and seven rebounds to garner MVP 3 notice, while team captain Odyssey Sims notched a game-high 26 points with eight assists and two rebounds.

KEY MOMENT

Team Harrison never trailed in the contest and used an 11-2 run in the final two minutes of the opening quarter to build a 30-17 lead. Team Sims narrowed the gap to 48-47 in the third quarter, but a 12-0 outburst by Team Harrison in a three-minute span later in the stanza was too much to overcome.

LEADERBOARD IMPACT

Sims remains the league leader with 5,877 points and enters Friday’s action with a 404-point advantage over forward Naz Hillmon. Harrison continues to hold the No. 4 position with 5,217 points.
