Phoenix Mercury Guard Charisma Osborne signs with AU Pro Basketball
Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has signed Charisma Osborne for the 2025 season in Nashville, Tennessee.
Osborne is a guard out of Fontana, California. She was chosen with the first pick of the third round (25th overall) by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Osborne battled an injury throughout her rookie season and only played in two regular season games.
She spent her collegiate career at UCLA, where she was a four-time All-Pac-12 honoree and was named to the conference’s All-Defensive team in 2021 and 2024. She ranks first all-time in UCLA program history for three-pointers made (282), games played (152), and games started (150). Osborne is also in the Bruins record books as second in points scored (2,272), third in free throw percentage (.853), tied for third in field goals made (768), and fourth in free throws made (454).
Osborne won a gold medal playing for the United States at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup. She competed for Team USA at the 2023 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup in Mexico, averaging 5.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and a team-high three assists per game en route to a silver medal. She had a decorated high school career winning two state titles, was named California Ms. Basketball in 2018, and was a McDonald’s All-American her senior year.
