Peyton St. George Retires from Pro Softball

Peyton St. George has announced that she is retiring from professional softball.

St. George made her pro debut in 2022 after being selected out of Duke in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball College Draft.

She was the first play to commit to the Blue Devils program and made a school-record 152 appearances in the circle from 2018-22. She had a 2.14 career ERA with 641 strikeouts. Her 566.0 innings are the most by any pitcher in program history. She also owns career records for games started, wins, saves, strikeouts, shutouts, and complete games.

St. George is a three-time All-Atlance Coast Conference selection and led the Blue Devils to its first NCAA Super Regional appearance as a graduate student and first ACC title as a senior. 

In three Championship seasons with AU Pro Softball, St. George has made 25 appearances with nine starts and a 4.52 ERA. She also competed in the 2023 AUX competition, where she secured her best finish of 10th place.
