The final round of the 2025 Volleyball Nations League competition has arrived, and for the third time in her career, Morgan Hentz has made the cut for Team USA’s last travel roster of the summer.

The decorated Team USA libero and Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball star is set to take the court in Łódź, Poland, with the U.S. National Team – one of eight teams that advanced from the preliminary rounds.

Hentz’s spot on the roster comes after a standout performance in the final round of the preliminary phase. She recorded 13 digs in a 3-1 win over the Dominican Republic, setting a personal best for this year’s VNL competition. She followed that up with another personal best, totaling 20 digs in a 3-2 loss to China, where she posted a 60% efficiency on defense.

Her consistent performance in the backcourt played a pivotal role in securing her place among the 15 players traveling to Poland.

Hentz’s previous VNL experience includes all four rounds in the 2022 competition, which yielded a fifth-place finish; three rounds in 2023, including the final where the U.S. finished fourth; two rounds in 2024; and now all four rounds in the 2025 competition.

Team USA clinched their spot in the VNL Finals with a 7-5 record, finishing in the eighth and final qualifying spot. They will face top-seeded Italy in the quarterfinals on July 23. The Finals feature a single-elimination format and run July 23-27. Other teams advancing include Brazil, Japan, Poland, China, Türkiye, and Germany.
