Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball is adding a top-five WNBA draft pick to its 2026 roster. Kysre Gondrezick is set to bring top-notch scoring experience from her standout career at West Virginia to Nashville this winter.
Gondrezick was selected fourth overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2021 WNBA Draft, making history as the highest draft selection for the Mountaineers and just the second first-round draft pick in program history. In her rookie WNBA season, she appeared in 19 games while averaging 1.9 points and 1.0 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per game.
She finished her debut campaign fifth among all rookies in made three-pointers and assists per game. Gondrezick’s WNBA resume also includes a 2024 stint with the Chicago Sky.
In recent years, Gondrezick has expanded her presence beyond basketball and has balanced opportunities in acting and modeling with her basketball training. She recently made an appearance at New York Fashion Week in August.
“I’m so grateful and excited all at the same time to get an opportunity to not only do what I love but compete amongst the best women to become better in pursuit of my dream,” Gondrezick said.
Before starting her pro chapter, Gondrezick put together a decorated collegiate career that began at Michigan and culminated with three dominant seasons at West Virginia. As a freshman at Michigan, she led all Big Ten freshmen with 14.9 points per game and earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors from both coaches and media. She was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week six times and scored in double figures in 24 of 33 games.
After transferring to West Virginia, the 5-foot-9 guard continued to reach new heights. As a senior she averaged 19.5 points per game–the best mark by a Mountaineer since 2005-06–while also recording 4.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds per contest. She started all 28 games that season while logging 37.3 minutes a game.
Her senior year performance earned her an unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 First Team, making her the third WVU player to achieve the distinction. She also became the 29th All-American in program history after receiving honorable mention nods from both the Associated Press and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Gondrezick finished her West Virginia career with 1,011 points and finished her full collegiate career with 1,503 total points. She left WVU with the second-most all-time minutes played per game, and was fourth in the record books for scoring average with 17.14 points per game.
Now, Gondrezick will bring her scoring ability and high-level experience to AU Pro Basketball’s 5th season where she’ll join the league’s elite roster, and compete for the league crown in Music City.
AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville, Tennessee, with elite talent and electrifying energy, for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026, at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Group and season ticket deposits for the upcoming season are available now.
