Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has added one of the game’s most decorated defenders to its 2026 roster with the signing of 10-year WNBA veteran Kiah Stokes.

A two-time WNBA champion with the Las Vegas Aces (2022, 2023), Stokes has built a reputation as a defensive anchor since being selected 11th overall in the 2015 WNBA Draft. She earned WNBA All-Defensive Second Team honors and All-Rookie Team recognition that year, starting her pro career with the New York Liberty before a brief trade to Las Vegas and a return to New York in 2021. She has remained with the Aces since 2022.

Stokes’ pro résumé extends overseas, where she competed from 2015 to 2023 in the EuroLeague, Turkey, and South Korea. Her tenure with Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahçe included multiple league championships and a EuroLeague title in 2023. She led the team in rebounds and blocked shots during several seasons.

Before turning pro, Stokes starred at Connecticut, winning three NCAA championships (2013–15) and graduating ranked third in program history in blocked shots. She was named the 2015 American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, broke the school’s single-season blocks record, and recorded the fourth triple-double in UConn history (10 points, 11 rebounds, 10 blocks).

Her USA Basketball career includes gold medals at the 2009 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and a bronze at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. She was also part of the 2016 USA Select Team.

Stokes joins AU Pro Basketball with a championship pedigree and a decade of experience shutting down some of the best scorers in the world.

AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville, Tennessee, with elite talent and electrifying energy, for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026, at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Group and season ticket deposits for the upcoming season are available now.
