Essence Carson signs for 2024 AU Pro Basketball season

Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball has re-signed guard Essence Carson for the 2024 season in Dallas, Texas. Carson is a third-year veteran who competed for 13 seasons in the WNBA.

The guard was a starter in eight of her eleven games in 2023. She scored in double figures in three of her final four games, including an AU career-high 21 points in Week Four against Team Smith.

Carson is a 2016 WNBA Champion, winning the title with the Los Angeles Sparks. She spent her collegiate career at Rutgers where she was the two-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year and ranks 24th in school history with 1,262 career points. Outside of basketball, Carson serves as Senior Manager of Label Relations at Motown Records.

The third season of AU Pro Basketball will occur from February 29 to March 23, 2024, with all games taking place at Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, Texas. Tickets are on sale now.
