Emma Cannon Signs for 2026 AU Pro Basketball Season
Emma Cannon is taking her talents to Nashville for Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball this winter, bringing experience from seven years in the WNBA and an accomplished overseas career to the league.
Cannon is coming off her seventh WNBA season, where she appeared in 21 games for the Sparks and averaged 10.1 minutes, 4.4 points, and 1.8 rebounds. She shot 50.8 percent from the field, and her career efficiency continues to be one of her strongest assets. She holds a 48.4 percent field-goal mark across 135 regular season games since entering the league in 2017.
Her year included a season-high 15 point outing against Chicago in June, and she pulled down a season-high eight boards later that month against Seattle.
Her pro career has also taken her around the world. Cannon has put together dominant seasons in several top leagues, including Turkey, Israel, and Germany. She earned All-Israeli League Forward of the Year honors in 2022 after averaging 20.8 points and 13.0 rebounds and collected Finals MVP recognition while leading Elitzur Ramla to a championship.
The 6-foot-2 forward also earned All-EuroCup Forward of the Year in 2021 with Elazig Il Ozel Idare after averaging 23.1 points and 13.2 rebounds, and she was named the top forward in Germany’s DBBL in 2014 with Wasserburg. Her international playing history includes championship runs in Israel and Germany along with additional stops in Russia, Poland, and Australia.
Before beginning her professional career, Cannon started at Central Florida and was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team after averaging 11.7 points and 8.7 rebounds. She continued her rise as a sophomore, earning First Team All-Conference USA honors and setting the UCF single season rebounding record with 393. Cannon transferred to Florida Southern for her senior year and helped lead the Mocs to a 26-5 season, a regular season title, a conference tournament title, and an appearance in the NCAA Regional Final. She paced the team in scoring and rebounding while averaging 15.7 points and 12.1 rebounds.
Cannon will now turn her attention to her debut season with AU Pro Basketball, where she will join the stacked 2026 roster.
AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville, Tennessee, with elite talent and electrifying energy, for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026, at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Group and season ticket deposits for the upcoming season are available now.
