Bria Hartley Returns to AU Pro Basketball for 2026 Season
Bria Hartley is returning to Nashville with Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball for the 2026 season.
Hartley steps back onto the court in hopes of building on last year, which saw her place 10th on the AU Pro Basketball leaderboard and return to the WNBA with the Connecticut Sun.
Hartley averaged 30.7 minutes per game during the 2025 AU campaign with 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. She finished the season with 4,175 leaderboard points, including seven Game MVP honors.
The 5-foot-9 guard signed with the Connecticut Sun just days before the 2025 season tipped off and made an impact in her first appearance since 2022. Hartley made 32 starts and appeared in 38 games while posting 8.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
Hartley’s career spans 10 seasons in the WNBA, beginning in 2014 when she was drafted No. 7 overall by the Seattle Storm in the WNBA Draft. She was immediately traded to the Washington Mystics, where she averaged 9.7 points per game in 34 games with 29 starts and received WNBA All-Rookie Team Recognition. After spending three years with Washington, Hartley played three with the New York Liberty and two with the Phoenix Mercury, as well as time with the Indiana Fever and Sun in 2022.
Hartley competed for France during the 2020 FIBA Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament and helped France secure an Olympic berth after averaging 7.7 points and 4.7 assists over three games during the group phase. She earned a silver medal during the 2019 FIBA EuroBasket Championship. She was also a member of the Team USA pool from 2014 to 2016 and guided the United States to a gold medal at the inaugural FIBA 3×3 World Cup in 2012.
A four-year letter winner at UConn, Hartley finished with 1,996 points, 550 rebounds, and 559 assists. She played in 153 total games for the Huskies and led UConn to a pair of NCAA Division I titles. She was a two-time WBCA All-America selection (2012, 2014) and also received Second-Team Associated Press All-America notice in 2014.
