AU Pro Softball Season 5 Draft Results: Meet the Week 2 Teams

Four first-time AU Pro Softball captains guide the Week Two teams. Rookie pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl leads the Gold squad into the slate after compiling a league-best 508 leaderboard points with a pair of complete game efforts during her professional debut.

Fellow pitcher Taylor McQuillin tallied 466 leaderboard points during the opening week to finish in second place, granting her the role of captain for the Orange team in Week Two. The AU Pro Softball veteran authored a 2-0 record in the circle with a 0.88 earned run average after giving up one run on four hits over 8.0 innings.

Outfielder Amanda Lorenz and middle infielder Skylar Wallace closed Week One in a tie for third place on the leaderboard with 450 points. As a result of the league’s tiebreakers, Lorenz will be the Blue team captain while Wallace stands as the Purple team leader.

Lorenz was Team Denham’s leading hitter in Week One with a .364 average, going 4-for-11 with a home run and three runs batted in. Wallace, making her professional debut, followed by going 3-for-10 at the plate with a grand slam in Team Denham’s 11-2 victory over Team Alexander in Sunday’s Week One finale.
