Athletes Unlimited Releases DEI Commitment Statement

AU started with a group of eight employees who laid the foundation for the current statement. The statement was then brought to the wider organization where employees and an internal working group had an opportunity to refine it further.

The DEI statement reads: As a company, we share a vision to change the world for the better and believe in the power of sports to tear down barriers. We will Be Unlimited in our pursuit to intentionally create an environment where every individual can be their authentic self.

“The DEI statement represents our commitment to increasing representation in professional sports and serves as a guidepost for our work,” said LunYan Hoysgaard, Sr. Director of People and Culture at Athletes Unlimited. “The collaborative process ensured this statement is one that represents us all. Sports has a unique ability to bring people together and build community and I am proud that Athletes Unlimited is prioritizing DEI as part of that effort. ”
