8 Athletes Named to 2024 Volleyball All-Position Team
Eight athletes have been named to the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Volleyball All-Position Team, the league announced on Saturday. The team was selected by players and facilitators.
The team includes two outside hitters, one opposite, two middle blockers, one setter, and two liberos.
The All-Position Team has been compiled below.
Outside Hitter: Betty De La Cruz-Mejía; Madi Kingdon Rishel
Opposite: Brittany Abercrombie
Middle Blocker: Molly McCage; Tori Dixon
Setter: Natalia Valentin-Anderson
Libero: Morgan Hentz, Manami Kojma
The two liberos have been named to the All-Position team after receiving equal votes.
The 2024 All-Position Team will be recognized during the Closing Ceremony following the final match of the 2024 Season between Team De La Cruz-Mejía and Team Abercrombie. The match begins on Monday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. MST. The league will also crown the 2024 Champion, in addition to announcing the 2024 Defensive Player of the Year, 2024 Teammate of the Year, and 2024 Middle Blocker of the Year Award.
