2025 AU Pro Volleyball Championship All-Position Team Revealed
As the 2025 Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball Championship enters its final weekend, seven athletes have been recognized for their excellence throughout the season, earning spots on the league’s All-Position Team, which recognizes the standout performers across all positions this season.
The honor goes to setter Natalia Valentin-Anderson, libero Morgan Hentz, opposite Jordan Thompson, middle blockers Molly McCage and Tori Dixon, and outside hitters Reagan Cooper and Dani Drews.
Setter: Natalia Valentin-Anderson
Valentin-Anderson has already extended one of her AU Pro Volleyball Championship records by recording her 37th career double-double, including her league-high sixth double-double this season, after posting 28 assists and 14 digs. It was also her 37th career match with double-digit digs, further cementing her status as one of the most consistent setters in league history.
Heading into the final two matches of the season, Valentin-Anderson has 362 assists and averages 12.07 assists per set, leading the league in that category. She also has 17 kills and 112 digs while averaging 3.73 digs per set, ranking fourth in the league in digs per set.
Libero: Morgan Hentz
Hentz tallied her 700th career dig this season and stands first in the AU record books for that category. She registered a season-high 21 digs in Thursday’s loss against Team Thompson, marking the sixth time she has surpassed 20 digs in a match during her career. She is the third player in the league with 20 or more digs in a match this season, and is the only libero to serve as captain in 2025.
With a grand total of 141 digs heading into the final two matches of the season, Hentz averages 4.7 digs per set and leads the league in that category. She also ranks fifth in the league and second among liberos in positive service reception percentage.
Opposite: Jordan Thompson
Thompson has collected 300 or more leaderboard points in four of her last six matches after closing Thursday’s win with 360 leaderboard points. She also secured her league-leading ninth Match MVP certificate, including her fourth MVP 1 award. Thompson registered her 10th consecutive double-digit kill performance on Thursday night, joining outside hitter Dani Drews as the only players in the league with at least 10 kills in every match this season.
Thompson also recorded her sixth match with 20 or more kills this season, including her third outing in a row, to establish a new AU Pro Volleyball Championship record for the most career matches with 20 or more kills. Thompson leads the league in kills per set heading into the final two matches, averaging 6.53 kills per set with 196 kills total. She also has seven aces on the season and 71 digs while averaging 2.37 digs per set.
Middle Blocker: Molly McCage
McCage reached her 400th career kill this fall and has remained one of the highest-performing middles all season. She captained her very first squad in what is now her fifth AU Pro Volleyball season, making her the only middle blocker to serve as a captain this season.
She has 57 kills and 29 blocks, and is averaging 0.97 blocks per set. McCage leads the league in blocks per set heading into the final two matches and is second in the league in block assists per set.
Middle Blocker: Tori Dixon
Dixon has been a force at the net all season long, recording 37 kills and averaging 1.23 kills per set. She has 23 blocks and averages 0.77 blocks per set, and ranks third in the league in blocks per set heading into the final two matches.
Dixon is also tied for first in the league for service aces per set, adding another dimension to her game beyond her defensive prowess.
Outside Hitter: Reagan Cooper
Cooper has 136 kills on the season and averages 4.53 kills per set, ranking second in the league in the kills per set category. She served as team captain for the first time in Week Three and then repeated as captain for the season’s final week.
Cooper has recorded eight straight double-figure kill performances after posting 22 in Thursday’s contest with Team Drews. Her consistent offensive production has made her one of the most reliable rookies in the competition.
Outside Hitter: Dani Drews
Drews joined the 500-kill club this season, becoming the third player in league history to reach that milestone. She registered her 10th consecutive double-digit kill performance in Thursday’s Week Four opener after pacing her team with 14 kills. Drews and opposite Jordan Thompson are the only players in the league with 10 or more kills in every match this season.
Drews also moved into second place on the league’s career kills chart, passing outside hitter Leah Edmond. She now has 523 kills in her three-year AU Pro Volleyball Championship career. She has 134 kills on the season and averages 4.47 kills per set, which ranks third in the league. She also has 87 digs and averages 2.9 digs per set. Drews earned her seventh Match MVP award this season after earning MVP 3 distinction, and she moved into a tie with libero Morgan Hentz for second place on the league’s career Match MVP list with her 19th all-time award.
The AU Pro Volleyball Championship will conclude this weekend after match days on Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday Nov. 2 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center. Tickets are on sale now.
