2-Time Champion Taylor Moreno Signs for AU Pro Lacrosse Season 4

Moreno, who became the first player in any Athletes Unlimited sport to claim consecutive titles, tallied 1,679 points in her second season with the league. The goalkeeper established the new single-season saves record with 140 saves over 12 games in 2023. She posted eight outings with 10 or more saves. She also set a new single-game record with 17 saves against Team Apuzzo on July 30.

Prior to her pro career, Moreno played in a school-record 87 games from 2017-2022 at the University of North Carolina. She holds the school career goalkeeper record with 76 starts and is the team’s all-time leader with 667 saves, which is the second-highest in Atlantic Coast Conference history. She led the Tar Heels to six consecutive ACC Tournament titles and the 2022 NCAA Championship.

Moreno also helped Team USA to a Gold medal victory at the World Lacrosse Women’s Super Sizes event in 2023.
